to human is difficult
Today I saw an exhibit called “Beneath Night and Day” by a Ghanian artist named Gideon Appah. It also included a video, voiced over by a poet (Poetra Asantewa) whose poem starts with a translation of an Akan saying:
To human is difficult, but it is only the human which can make itself sweet.
and I really liked that, so just sharing with the class.
